Biase De Gregorio is a recognised leader in South Africa’s Agile community, known for his pragmatic approach and passion for driving meaningful change. As Executive Partner and previous role of heading up the Business Agility practice at iqbusiness, Biase built one of the country’s largest Agile consulting teams, enabling organisations across industries to embrace Lean and Agile practices at scale.
Under his leadership, iqbusiness has trained over 15,000 individuals, formed strategic partnerships with Scaled Agile Inc., AgilityHealth, and Accelerated Innovation, and championed a culture of continuous learning. Co-creator of the Geshido® philosophy—“the subtle art of getting sh!t done” - Biase, alongside Reneshan Moodley, launched Geshidocon, South Africa’s leading Business Agility conference, giving clients and partners a platform to share real-world stories.
While he’s led large-scale transformations and built high-performing teams, Biase sees the growth of individuals as his greatest achievement. Through coaching and mentoring, he empowers people to build confidence, develop expertise, and embrace agility. His work continues to shape the business agility conversation, helping organisations stay responsive in an ever-evolving world.
Over the past year, Biase has immersed himself in the world of GenAI, recognising that organisations adopting AI face many of the same challenges as those adopting Agility.
Recently he travelled to Germany ,USA & Netherlands to become an AI Native trainer as part of the first cohort of Charter Partners globally through Scaled Agile Inc. allowing him to deliver AI-Native Foundation and Change Agent courses in Africa (and beyond) and is now the Head of AI Strategy & Enablement practice.
