Thorsten Janning (born 1962) holds a degree in mathematics and has been working in the IT industry since 1990. His professional career has taken him from roles as an architect and project manager at consulting and end-user companies, as well as a university professorship, to the consulting and training business. As a co-founder (in 2002), he is a partner and served as a member of the Executive Board of KEGON AG until the end of 2017.

His professional work focuses on the development of lean and agile organizations, as well as agile strategy and portfolio development. Dr. Janning is one of the first European SAFe® Practice Consultant Trainers and the first German SAFe® Fellow, making him one of the most experienced and prominent agile consultants in Europe. Thorsten Janning is an experienced advisor to board members and executive management as they navigate their companies toward a sustainable and digital future.
